Recognized as one of the top programs in the county, we offer students unparalleled opportunities to learn, grow, and shine in the performing arts. Our students have the opportunity to grace the stage at the prestigious Mahaffey Theatre for Pinellas County School events through the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts and have made their mark in film, television, commercials, and professional theatre venues.

Whether you are a beginner exploring your passion or you are an advanced student seeking professional training, Sears Studio provides a supportive and enriching environment. Our program is designed to foster creativity, teamwork, and personal development, equipping students with skills that extend beyond the arts. Join us at Sears Studio and become part of a vibrant community that celebrates the transformative power of the arts.

Early Drop/Homework Assistance Program
Students enrolled in the Early Drop program can be dropped off as early as
3:30 PM to get a head start on their homework. This allows us to support your child's
academic responsibilities while fostering their artistic growth.

After-School Van Pick-Up Service:
We currently accept students from all schools for early drop-off. However, our van pick-up service is exclusively available for
Country Day School students at this time. We are also collecting names of interested students
from other schools for a potential pick-up service, provided there is sufficient interest.
Schedule Follows the Public Pinellas County School Calendar

– The Percy Jackson Musical
We’re excited to announce that this season’s Monday class will be based on the thrilling Broadway musical The Lightning Thief, inspired by Rick Riordan’s best-selling book series. This high-energy production follows Percy Jackson, a teenager who discovers he’s a demigod, and embarks on an epic quest to prevent a war among the Greek gods. With powerful music, rich storytelling, and dynamic characters, this show is perfect for passionate young performers ready to bring myth and magic to life on stage.

Rehearsal Commitment Policy
Theatre is a team effort. All Cast Members must prioritize rehearsals in their weekly schedules. Missing more than two unexpected rehearsals per semester may result in loss or reassignment of roles.
We cannot emphasize this enough: past seasons have shown that inconsistent attendance creates unnecessary stress for the entire cast and creative team. It becomes nearly impossible to teach, rehearse, or polish scenes without the full cast present. We ask that cast members submit known conflicts in advance and understand that mandatory rehearsals are non-negotiable. Casting decisions may be adjusted if commitment is not upheld. Be sure to look over your schedule and clear your calendar before committing.
